Thank you for your interest in our graduate employment programme Steps to Success. The Steps to Success (formerly Leadership by Example) programme has run since summer 2007. During that time we have successfully facilitated the employment of some 100 graduates who are now working for various employers including: Citigroup, State Street Bank, Tower Hamlets Borough Council, Lloyd's Register, JP Morgan, Credit Agricôle, Ernst & Young and Greater London Enterprise.
We developed (and continue to develop) strong links with employers, but have worked with only a tiny fraction of the students we know would benefit from the Steps to Success programme. We have decided, therefore, that in order to reach large numbers of students we will take our work and employers into universities.
As a result of this decision and new strategy, which is exciting for us and will yield more successes over the long term, we will no longer be providing this programme direct to students – from end November 2010.
We would like those of you who have already participated in our programmes to keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on. Those students who have left university within the last 2 years will still have access to their universities' careers services/employability units.
We strongly recommend that you keep in contact with those services/units, in order to access information, advice and guidance to support you into employment, and also our (Adab Trust's) partnership work with your institution.
